Learn Japanese with the textbook that suits you
N5 Course
For beginners of Japanese, we recommend using our Japanese Beginner I and Japanese Beginner II , starting from learning the 50 sounds (hiragana and katakana) and gradually building a solid foundation in Japanese.
The learning speed varies from person to person. With 2 hours of classes per week and review in spare time, most students can reach JLPT N5 level within one year.
N3 Course
We recommend that students who have obtained JLPT N4 qualification or have equivalent
1) Minna’s Japanese Intermediate I and Minna’s Japanese Intermediate II; or
2) Come and learn Japanese (beginner and intermediate level)
After completing the course, you can apply for the JLPT N3 open test.
N1 Course
For students who have obtained JLPT N2 qualification or have an equivalent level, we recommend using Let's Learn Japanese (Upper Intermediate) and Let's Learn Japanese (Advanced).
After completing the course, you can apply for the JLPT N1 open test.
N4 Course
For students who have obtained JLPT N5 or have an equivalent level, we recommend using Minna's Japanese Advanced I and Minna's Japanese Advanced II.
After completing these two textbooks, you will be able to master basic verb conjugations and most simple words used in daily life. After completing the course, you can apply for the JLPT N4 open test.
N2 Course
We recommend that students who have obtained JLPT N3 or equivalent
1) Minna’s Japanese Intermediate Level III and Minna’s Japanese Intermediate Level IV; or
2) Come and learn Japanese (intermediate level)
After completing the course, you can apply for the JLPT N2 open test.
Business Japanese
For students who want to work in Japan in the future, we recommend starting to learn business Japanese at around N4 level. For business Japanese, we recommend using the following textbooks:
1) N4 level: Negotiation Japanese (beginner level)
2) N3 level: Business Japanese (intermediate)
3) N2 or above: Business Japanese: All-in-One. Practical Exercises for Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing.
幼兒/小朋友課程：
小朋友(6-12嵗)的話，我們建議使用：
1）小朋友的日本語I；及
2）小朋友的日本語II。
幼兒(6嵗以下)的話，我們會從簡單的平假名，片假名書寫及發音練習，配合游戲等，以提升小朋友對日語的興趣及學習意欲。
